(1) Supplies of mains gas and electricity from ScottishPower under the Platinum Fixed Energy October 2015 Offer (the "Offer Product") must be applied for from 6th June 2013 until the date when the Offer Product is withdrawn by us. All applicants must be aged 16 years or over and must contract to pay, and continue to pay, for the energy supply under the Offer Product by monthly Direct Debit.
(2) Subject to condition 9, ScottishPower guarantees that Platinum Fixed Energy October 2015 Offer prices will remain fixed until 30th September 2015.
(3) If you cancel your Offer Product contract by switching to another gas and/or electricity supplier before 30th September 2015, we will apply a cancellation charge. The current cancellation charges are £25.00 for electricity and £25.00 for gas, each inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20%. These charges will be amended if there is a change in the VAT rate at any time or times before 30th September 2015, by an amount equivalent to the applicable change in the VAT rate. These charges will not be applied if the agreement is cancelled due to a home move. If you cancel your supply contract for gas or electricity only, you agree that we shall be entitled to transfer your remaining gas or electricity account to a standard non Offer Product service package. (4) If you cancel your supply contract for the Offer Product or switch to another of our tariff(s) before 30th September 2015, you will no longer be entitled to the HomeComfort Premium Care or any other of the benefits offered under the Offer Product.
(5) ScottishPower will write to you before the end of the Offer Product to let you know what will happen next. We will, unless you choose another option, move you to our standard prices for your supply contract for gas and electricity and our closest equivalent HomeComfort product for your boiler care. Alternatively you may want to choose another of our Offer products. You will also have the option to cancel your contract(s) with ScottishPower, without being required to pay any cancellation charges.
(6) The prices given in this leaflet are those you pay as an Offer Product contract customer and replace any mains gas and electricity prices which you may currently pay.
(7) The obligations on ScottishPower under the Offer Product and these terms and conditions will not come into effect until we have been registered as the supplier of mains gas and electricity to the property.
(8) If a customer leaves the property to which the Offer Product applies, that customer will not be able to transfer that Offer Product to another property. However, that customer will be entitled to apply for the version (if any) of the Offer Product on offer from ScottishPower at that time for that other property.
(9) ScottishPower will meet the Offer Product fixed price guarantee unless it is prevented from doing so by the actions or requirements of any governmental, statutory or licensing authority.
(10) Your payment method under the Offer Product is by monthly Direct Debit. If at any time or from time to time any payment due is not made via monthly Direct Debit, you agree that we shall be entitled to transfer your account to a standard non Offer Product service package. A cancellation charge as detailed in Condition 3 above may be applied if we receive a cancellation notice for your Direct Debit instruction.
(11) These terms and conditions are in addition to the ScottishPower Gas and Electricity General Terms and Conditions for Domestic Customers and the HomeComfort Premium Terms and Conditions.
* All customers who qualify for the Gas & Electricity Offer discount will receive annual discounts of £5.00 (excl. VAT), £5.25 (incl. VAT) per fuel. These discounts are shown on your bill as daily amounts of 1.369p (excl. VAT), 1.437p (incl. VAT) per fuel.
** The Online Energy Service discount is only available to customers with up to three meters & three registers (ScottishPower and Manweb supply areas), or with a single rate or two rate meter (all other supply areas). The annual discounts are £5.00 (excl. VAT), £5.25 (incl. VAT) per fuel. These discount are shown on your bill as daily amounts of 1.369p (excl. VAT), 1.437p (incl. VAT) per fuel.
† Your prices include a charge equivalent to £168.94 (incl. VAT) per annum for HomeComfort Premium Care. This charge is split equally between your gas and electricity prices and is calculated as follows: you will pay a charge of 22.04p (excl. VAT), 23.14p (incl. VAT) per day on both the gas and electricity daily service charges. These charges are included in the gas and electricity prices shown in this leaflet.
